His list of duties also include research on indigenous materials as well as monitoring work progress of employees and interns.
Saraswat says,"I think architecture in time has evolved not just in terms of ideas, concepts, tools, and techniques but also by its degree of exposure to a much larger audience. Which was once a symbol of aristocracy and luxury has slowly evolved into a bourgeoisie idea that symbolizes the identity and taste rather than any social or economic order. With its fusion with the new facets of planning, landscape, and interior designing on the platform of the 21st century social order, the shape the field of architecture will take in the future is yet to be known."
