About Us
Rooted Kites Studio is a pursuit of timeless designs with amalgamation of modern cutting-edge tools and techniques. Here, we believe in transforming lives in the process of design evolution. For a design to be successful, the form and function must compliment with each other. So, we believe in an interactive process of project designing right from the concept till the final execution. We are Rooted Kites Studio. We provide design solutions for architectural, interior and landscape projects of varying scales.
Our Legacy
The studio was initially an idea coined by the original founders during their college days with a vision to provide architectural solutions at the doorsteps of common public in small cities of Chhattisgarh and Odisha. The term “Rooted Kites” is meant to symbolize one’s passion to reach for great things while being attached to the humble origins. This idea has been and will be the inspiration to all the projects that the firm has worked upon and will work. The ideology helps the people in the firm to start from basic concepts and evolve the design to the maximum potential. While, the original founders have embarked on new paths handing over the reins of the firm to a new set of architects, engineers, and designers, the core essence of the firm still remains the same.
Architecture is the learned game, correct and magnificent, of forms assembled in the light.

- Le Corbusier

As an architect, you design for the present, with an awareness of the past for a future which is essentially unknown.

- Norman Foster

My work is not about "form follows function," but "form follows beauty" or, even better, "form follows feminine.

- Oscar Niemeyer

When I’m working on a problem, I never think about its beauty, I just think about how to solve the problem, but when I finish it, if the solution is not beautiful, I know it’s wrong.

- Richard Buckminster Fuller

If a project is intense, valid, and has a powerful idea, its imperfections will be in the background.

- Alberto Campo Baeza

Early in my career...I had to choose between an honest arrogance and a hypercritical humility... I deliberately choose an honest arrogance, and I've never been sorry.

- Frank Lloyd Wright

We should attempt to bring nature, houses, and human beings together in a higher unity

- Ludwig Mies van der Rohe

The difference between good and bad architecture is the time you spend on it

- David Chipperfield

Saraswat says,"I think architecture in time has evolved not just in terms of ideas, concepts, tools, and techniques but also by its degree of exposure to a much larger audience. Which was once a symbol of aristocracy and luxury has slowly evolved into a bourgeoisie idea that symbolizes the identity and taste rather than any social or economic order. With its fusion with the new facets of planning, landscape, and interior designing on the platform of the 21st century social order, the shape the field of architecture will take in the future is yet to be known."
